How The Jaeger Project Could Have Used Debt Collection Services

By Robert Sutter

There have been many films released in 2013 so far but I feel like "Pacific Rim" holds great potential when it comes to being named the best of the year. Those who have seen the film understand just how large it truly seems. There's a theme of monsters versus machines that is apparent throughout the course of the movie but there are many other aspects that can be seen, too. Amongst all of these, though, can debt collection services find themselves as such an element, too?

"Pacific Rim" is home to a number of elements and that of risk, at least in my mind, stands out in the greatest of ways possible. The reason that I say this is because even though the Jaegers are tremendous strides in the way of technology, they aren't the strongest. This is especially true when the Kaijus, gigantic monsters originating from the Pacific Ocean, are immensely strong. The humans are viewed as the underdogs, which is rather effective in a film that has so much tension.

The element of teamwork was another that was made clear within the movie, especially when it came to the Jaegers themselves. For those who don't know, these are gigantic humanoid robots piloted by two people, so it's clear that working together has to be done. However, with the mental links formed, the pilots in question have to work together that much more or else they won't be able to properly operate the Jaegers. Unity is, to say the least, vital when it comes to this matter.

That being said, are there instances in the film in which debt collection services can come into the picture? One has to wonder if agencies along the lines of Rapid Recovery could have been seen in the film's year of 2020. I feel as though this is true, especially when you take into account that previous attempts in the Jaeger project were met with disastrous results. The links with normal civilians left them with vision problems, which is only the tip of the iceberg.

"Pacific Rim" is one of the first films in a long time that has been able to seize my imagination and never let go. The environment itself is rather tense and there's always a chance that our heroes could lose, too. It's such an element of risk that I have not seen in many action films and I found that my enjoyment of the film in question was increased because of this. Anyone who has seen it will more than likely be able to agree with my assessment.
